Braun Timepieces - BN10, BN46, BN37 & BN21

Here at Prodigal Gene, we have to confess, we had Braun down as a manufacturer of excellent electric razors and that was about it. Then, to our surprise we came across these extraordinary timepieces the other day - needless to say we were blown away. The watch above is the BN10 and is one shade of the pair of prestige watches in the range. The negative digital display on this watch is the finest of its kind and has brilliant clarity. The single scrolling wheel on the watch is used to cycle through the many functions, including: dual time zones, a 100 year calender and a handy count-down. The crystal used for the dial is specially hardened; so no need to worry any more about about catching it on the way out of the pool table (just us?). The BN10 also comes in silver with a metal strap, but we prefer the black one.

The above watch is the BN46 and is the most intelligible design of those in the range. We've picked this one out as a particular favourite due to it's simplicity and clean lines. The black hour minute hands and yellow seconds hand stand out brilliantly from the white face. The white colour scheme of this watch allows it to be highly conspicuous with any number of outfits, particularly against pastel chinos. Plus, no watch collection is really complete without the little white number.

The Mr Hyde to the BN46's Dr Jekyll: The BN37 couldn't get much different. The square face is a real statement and the negative digital display only adds to the mystique of this watch. If the white face and strap was made for standing out, then the complete black of the BN37 was made to fit in. At home with any suit combo and casual enough for a jeans and t-shirt, this watch is effortless.

Most watches in the range have a ying to their yang so you can't fail to find one that you like!
