The Prodigal Gene owns a couple (ahem...) of scarves but this is definitely the favourite. The deep burgundy is bang-on trend and the classic tartan will compliment any pea coat. And what it has in style it doesn't lack in substance. Lambswool lends itself so well to retaining warmth which is hitherto why it is a timeless winter material.
Barbour stock a broad range of scarves so you won't be disappointed. The lambswool ones come in between £20 and £30. If you're feeling flush they also have a variety of styles in cashmere. Expect to pay upwards of £50 for these though. The longevity of this garment will not disappoint and it will be a staple for years to come.
